Legislative Council redistricting maps and reports 1991-1992

The Texas Legislative Council is responsible for providing research and information to the Texas Legislature, including research into and creation of maps for the legislative redistricting process. Records present are reports and maps concerning the redistricting process dating 1991-1992. The reports show the deviation from the ideal district population, voting age population, Black, Hispanic, Black plus Hispanic, Anglo, and other ethnic groups, and total and voting age population for each district in Texas. The maps show proposed district realignment for the House, Senate, and Board of Education districts, covering the 69th-73rd Legislatures for the House and Senate districts, and the 72nd Legislature for the Board of Education districts.
